Moderate/Highly Exudating Wounds
Cleanse the wound with saline solution or water according to standard clinical practice. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Remove middle release film and apply the adherent side to the wound, allowing initial fixation of the dressing. One at a time, gently remove the remaining release films while gradually adhering the dressing to the skin, minimizing wrinkles in the dressing border. Do not stretch the dressing.
Mepilex® Border Post-Op Ag may be left in place for up to seven days, depending on the patient and the condition of the wound and surrounding skin, or as indicated by accepted clinical practice.
