Simpurity™ Super Absorbent Pads is made of a non-woven super absorbent fiber that will absorb up to 20 times its weight in fluid. One layer of Super Absorbent pad is equal to 36 layers of medical gauze. Maintains a moist wound environment for healing. Anti-seepage to prevent wound from leaking.

Indications

Simpurity™ Super Absorbent Pads are indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds such as: surgical incisions, laceratons, abrasions, burns, donor or skin graft sites, or any exudating wound.

Contraindications

Not for use on dry wounds.

Storage Requirements

Store at ambient room temperature.

Mode of Use/Application

Apply to skin surface to cover a wound.

Removal & Change Frequency

Dressing change frequency will depend on the patient’s condition and the level of exudate. Initially it may be necessary to change the dressing every 24 hours. When the exudate reduces, then dressing change frequency may slow down.
